Black Shirt and Jacket

Hey Guys,

Well welcome back to my Page for this amazing feature of styling work looks and reinterpreting the “OFFICE OUTFIT”. I am featuring a series of Work Shirts from Peter England which work from solids to checks and combined them into different looks . Peter England is one of the most trusted Office wear brands today owned by the Aditya Birla Group in India. They have been reinventing work basics, casuals and recently have launched the most amazing pastel range of jackets. Check their website for more information on the links below.  However am focusing on their more popular mainstream work shirt range. The idea of this read; is all about having fun with your office mojo and surprising yourself and the rest of your colleagues. Posting in this blog,  a look for every day of the week and giving cues of how you can make what you already have into these eclectic combinations by following the ideas.

MONDAY  BLUES

Starting point is this great amazing Blue accent shirt teamed with a linen waistcoat. The intention is to offset the entire birght blue with a Beige combination so all the attention is on the shirt. That’s your cue. Each element of the outfit is actually all played with a mix and match. And I am sure you could do this with possibly things you have already in your closet. The Bowtie and pattern brand shoes just bring in a bit of fun into the whole OOTD. The polka dot pattern is seen btw both in the Bowtie and pocket-square. These kind of detail play always add a lot of focus in your planning the variations.

TUESDAY CHECK

The classic Plaid check here is all about having a focus with leather and Black. The Trench double breast jacket here combined with denims is a great way to make your work look a surprise. The accent. Signature laceup ankle boots and a lapel pin highlights the colors of the shirt in various ways. Its important to bring highlights to your base in many ways. Using small accents is all the tricks that really can make an outfit as you will see across this post. The cue is the adding of these extras, keep that in mind.

WEDNESDAY PRINT

You know when you get to the Midweek Mojo, its time to let your hair down and have some fun. Time to let the Print Pattern Magic take over. Teaming the classic white print shirt with blue jeans and bringing a print scarf to party up the look. The play of the print on print , trust me is one of the most fun looks one can do. If you see this summer white and blue look you can totally work this for yourself. Using accent colors from street shopping for this scarf , belt and accent Red shoes…I reinvented a totally fun work outfit. You need to try this out!! NOW!!

Floral accents come in as surprise if you want to be daring but even within the simple solid shirt, stripe shirt and motif jacket you can slay the work meetings any time.

When the weekend arrives and You know the party nights beckon , its time to have fun in BLACK. A simple black shirt gets all jazzed up here with a Military Jacket and jeans. The silver buttons are played with the Bling factor with the silver shoes and keeping the look monochromatic but jazzed to give that special flavour to welcome FRIYAY!! If you like all Black like me invest in some of those accent shoes and jackets which have some special features like buttons, lapel details and pockets. Incidentally a Military jacket in your wardrobe is  a must have.
