THE FLORAL OOTD

7556 Views

SO Spring is here and so are all the Dapper Prints and Flower Power as we well know is staple favorite for the Look Book in any season. Gone are the days when florals was just a by the by trend and there was just a few options to choose from. All Brands have prints in their look books and of course some of them are the nature flower patterns. The ranges to choose from in this genre are immense actually as you will see across these three selection of OOTD which I have been wearing to work. All these looks are great for the day or evening and focus on fun and comfort at the same time.

 LOOK 1

Focusing on a small running print with multicolored floral against a blue base here is teamed with light grey trousers and solid Blue jacket. Keeping it casual but the lines being more tailored , the look is slim, colorful and trendy. The woven belt and statement Indian silver ring brings in the eclectic accents. The grey and blue is a standard corporate palette combination but the floral accents here adds the interest for the season.

LOOK 2

The Magic of the Blue continues but now combined with Beige as a stark contrast. The floral patterns become larger here and are accentuated with the POP colored lapel pin just to give it that little lift. Never fear of combining patterns, the relaxed check linen trousers with the pattern shirt does work very well actually. The tailored fitted jacket worn on the short which is not tucked in and allows a more overall relaxed look as compared to the more formal Look 1.

LOOK 3The Final look in this story is all about the large floral print shirt which is one of my current loves from the Rare Rabbit Brand. The scale of the print runs all over the shirt in muted tones and the little pops of yellow breaks the more serious grey and white. Worn with a polka dot bowtie for the meetings and then just casually with the jacket and jeans when out, showcases the many variations to the same look. The Black single button jacket and dark blue denims are perfect in creating the look for the work wardrobe. It is focused and yet versatile that it can be worn to your evening events or at a party too.

Floral shirts can look awesome- if you know how to wear them. Whether it be a subtle sprout or overgrown, a floral-printed shirt is the must-have item of the season. That Rare Rabbit shirt is going perfect with that Jack & Jones jacket.
