Mehraab Linen kurta

There are not many brands which come into the market which change the genre for Men’s wedding wear. Indian garments redefined in luxury are, celebrating a new set of stars Arun Ahuja and John Marya for the brand Mehraab. I have had the privilege of knowing both these designers as friends and their rise to fame in the short time is a clear indication of their trail blazing designs and revolutionary style statements . The idea of couture and breaking traditions is a clear foundation of their work and what also sets them apart. In my set of chapters , where I have selected two of their garments;  are mainly in celebrating Summer styles for Indian Weddings. Cottons, embroidery and linens and their trademark silhouettes are clearly an indication of how even in the simplest of textiles one can find a royal celebration. This is Set 1.

Captured well in her article Jasmeen Duggal on her popular style blog covers the essence of the brand and the designers behind it. Check the article on this link They are also creating great work for women’s wear and designer Aarti Talwar, Arun Ahuja sister is creating waves in her own right in these collections. Many of the elections, are now available on the online portal of Aza fashion and Royal Fables Store at The Chanakya, New Delhi . Check with

Featured in this story, a choice from their latest collection of Linen Kurtas specially focused on the season. The great summer fabric, bold design intent, the choice of the blue and white is a classic that cannot go wrong for your special events . The details are quite amazing in the play of stitch-work which overlaps the pattern textile and has minute mirrors embedded within  it which catches the light quite beautifully.  As a combination I have not seen this approach before in a male garment and the work is also combined in signature palazzo pants which is teamed in this overall ensemble.
