Sustainability, Innovation, Green and giving back to the community.

In the past year I have had the privilege to be one of the Lilas Brand Ambassadors. They work with the rehabilitation of North Easter women by supporting them in creating these beautiful handloom textiles which are them creatively adapted into contemporary garments with very international silhouettes.

Their focus as said,

“A vision to be experimental using the simplest of ingredients with a desire to create designs that are both minimalistic in appearance as well rich in craftsmanship.”

The intent was to take the garments chosen to showcase them in various ways with how one can see the same jacket in a variety of looks!! Each look was aimed to be different but yet enhance the main garment as the center focus. The looks are purist in the curating of the overall look respecting the nature of the garments and their ethos. A play of the textures and patterns remains within the main Lila element and then supported with solids to enhance them
